Just a place where we can talk about Ed's Terrestrials.
Ed's came out in 2006 and is a great All Ages book.

You can purchase it from the store...from Amazon...or you can download it for free at Wowio.

The Wowio isn't up yet though. Give them a week or so.

Here's the cover and back cover.

Actually, from seeing it around in a few places (probably clicked on a couple of links around The Dreamland Chronicles to find it for sale and/or listed as a product on other sites), this is one of the comics that's caught my attention. The art style, as well as the all-ages story, appeals to me.

Aside from that, I enjoy reading light-hearted comics; they make a change from angst-driven plots etc that are otherwise very common, and give me a chance for a relaxing read. ^_^

Yeargh! Those images are 1200 pixels wide! Any chance you can reduce them 50%, Scott? It renders all the comments unreadable at any window size narrower than about 1400 pixels, and not all of us non-graphic-arts people use resolutions that high.

Oh...sorry.
I'll try to get to it when we get in to Tennessee next week.

No problem -- there's no great hurry. As a rule, it's best to provide thumbnail-size images as links to the full thing. It makes the page load faster and doesn't mess with the text so much.

I finished downloading this story from Wowio. It's really cute! I love the aliens-- Gus is my favorite.
The art is amazing, and suits the writing perfectly.

Thanks Smeasle. I really appreciate it.
Glad you enjoyed it.

My kids like Slim the best. Mostly because I do the Elvis voice and moves when I read it to them.

LOL! That's so great!
My dad used to read us stories and do the voices too. I loved that. I bet it's even better for them though, because you even wrote the story! Very Happy
