I really can't understand why they would want to cut out felicity and Nicole...

Fewer charactrers = shorter & cheaper movie.

Fewer introductions, fewer locations, fewer cast members, fewer scenes.

How can they just change the fact that they are brothers?? wouldnt that like change everything? who would chronicle Alex's stories of dreamland then? If they didnt get written down when he was a child then wouldnt you have to change the name? I mean it is called "The Dreamland Chronicles" afterall. I can see how taking a comic book or strip and making it into a movie would be hard because you already have a visual of everything thats happened. But it worked out for most of the ones that came out already, (x-men, hellboy, fantastic four, etc..). I dont think they should cut anyone or anything out of it. Afterall its supposed to take place in Dreamland, where kids "go" when they sleep. You could always try doing a trial run with some friends who wouldnt mind doing the voices for you then putting it up on utube and see what happens.

Also from what ive seen from "behind the scenes making of" on movies..they use story boards at the very begining and they look like roughly drawn comic strips

It would be an honor to see a Dreamland Chronicles movies after enjoying the web comic for so long. It would be heartbreaking to see what travesty hollywood would create with Scott Christian Sava's work.

Still, when dreamland chronicles the movie comes out you can count on me buying a ticket. Very Happy

Some time ago now I was playing with a face-matching site, and one of the pictures I decided to use was the new Nastajia wallpaper we'd just got. It came up with this picture of Rachel Bilson, which is actually a pretty close match with that expression:

Going into it seriously, I'd probably want to look at someone with lighter hair and eyes, just to make the colour matching easier. Particularly the green eyes, since I suppose a dark-haired person could wear a purple wig just as well as anyone. Nevertheless, I thought it was interesting. Maybe I should give this a shot with her original look, or some of the other characters. Wink

Hey Scott I just noticed that the last post for this was at the beginning of '09. Is this project still on or is it dead in the water? Any new/recent information would be great.

Thanks,

Flamus

Hey Flamus...
The project is still going on.
But now it's animated.

Tony Bancroft (Mulan) is directing.
